Welcome to Her Porsche, a space dedicated to celebrating women who share a passion for cars, specifically the iconic Porsche brand. Here, we dive into the exhilarating world of Porsche ownership and lifestyle, uncovering stories, experiences, and the unique bond that exists within the Porsche community.

About Me:

My name Zhanna. I am a marketing professional, a busy mom of two girls, a sports car enthusiast, and founder of Her Porsche. Thank you for your interest in my project.

I have always had an interest in cars. As a young girl, I would pay close attention to the cars I would see on the streets to take in every detail of each make, model and feature. This curiosity shifted to anticipation as I dreamed of the day I could get behind the wheel. When I got my license and my first car, I immediately turned to car modding, which quickly led me to a community of car enthusiasts who shared my interest. I was able to connect with many fascinating people in the community, including my car-enthusiast husband, whom I also met at a car meet. We now live in the Bay Area with our two daughters and a garage full of fun cars.

My Porsche Story:

First time I got behind the wheel of a Porsche was at the Porsche Experience Center in LA (PECLA) where I got to not only test drive but really push the limits of a 911 Carrera S. I knew this was the car for me and purchased one shortly after. As I continued to search for even more optimized performance, I decided to upgrade to a GT3 car and then complement that with a more family-friendly Macan S.

While waiting for my GT3 to be produced, I got the worst news of my life… I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My world was shattered and thoughts of uncertainty, terror and sadness flooded my head. I was in the middle of aggressive chemotherapy treatment when my GT3 arrived at Porsche Fremont. It was the perfect timing as my excitement for this new car balanced out feelings of sadness. But what made me a “Porsche fan for life” was how the community came together to support me during this difficult time. I was invited to go on drives, track days, cars & coffee events, etc, which helped bring normalcy during a difficult time in my life. Sometimes I made it to these events, sometimes I was too sick, but no matter what, my friends never stopped inviting me and this inclusivity made a fan for life.

Embracing Inclusivity:

While the Porsche brand has a devoted following, it is no secret that women, particularly when it comes to models like the 911 and 718 sports cars, are underrepresented in the Porsche community. I believe this discrepancy arises from a lack of exposure to the complete Porsche ownership experience. Owning a Porsche encompasses a unique lifestyle and offers a vibrant community of like-minded individuals who are driven, approachable, and fun-loving.

Inviting Women to the Porsche World:

To bridge this gap and provide more women with the chance to indulge in the exhilaration of driving a Porsche and the camaraderie of the Porsche community, I founded the Her Porsche project. Our aim is to introduce more women to the Porsche brand, showcasing not only the incredible cars but also the vibrant community that accompanies ownership.
